The graffiti artist Demais is a letters' lover. He paints them, models them, and rewrites them over and over again with an undiminished passion for the art of graffiti. Painted on a large wall in a fishing village in Hong Kong, this work reminds us of what matters most to Man: love. Composed of the four letters L.O.V.E. in pink and red tones and accentuated by grey reflections, the work is crossed by a blue line connecting the letters and bringing a touch of elegant colour to the whole. The interlocking letters are highlighted by the thickness of their white edges, giving the word a floating effect on the orange and black background. Finally, the halo, a tribute by the artist Demais to loved ones, harmoniously completes the lettering and adds to the lightness of the piece.
