Such is the case with “Read a Book”, one of the artist’s favourite creatures, caught up in his reading in a moment of simple tranquility.

The artist Frenemy dedicates his work to raising awareness of reading among children and adults. This steel lithograph conveys the artist's most direct message. "Read a Book" is a charming creature with pointed horns, one of which is adorned with a "skull" earring, wearing a cap with the visor raised, and dressed in orange patched trousers and a blue printed blouse. "Read a Book' sits casually on the pretty purple floor, holding a large green 'living' book, symbolising all the knowledge that books provide.
This apparent simplicity is intended by the artist to counteract the idea that culture is reserved for a certain segment of the population. With "Read a Book", Frenemy wishes to participate in his own way to the sensitization of all to the access to books and to the richness of their contents.
We support the cause defended by Frenemy and are proud to present this steel lithograph, mounted on 30mm spacers in order to detach it from the wall once hung. This inspiring and positive creature quickly becomes a character in the house.
